| I'm sorry, but a 300ZX is a sports car... any extra weight that's put into it in the form of stereo equipment should be easily removable for sports car functions. I took my subs out every time I went to the track. Regarding the trap speed, it's not horrible for your mods. Could probably be better if you dropped some weight. And it seems to me like you were revving high and just dumping the clutch to launch and probably boiling the tires (or if you didn't rev high enough, bogging off the line). This is wrong. Rev high (4500-6000 rpm) and slip the clutch to control wheel spin. It will wear your clutch out, but you're racing... nobody said it wasn't abusive to the car. lol
"When you say this, will you be surprised if your arguments seem to move about instead of staying put? And will you accuse me of being Daedalus who makes them move, though you are yourself much more skillful than Daedalus and make them go around in a circle? Or do you not realize that our argument has moved around and come again to the same place? [...] Or do you not remember?" - Socrates |
